Western Suburbs Soccer Club unite the local community by providing and promoting football for all ages, whether 4, 44 or more.

We aim to develop football in the Porirua area and beyond through leadership, enjoyment and provision of development opportunities. The club promote the name of Western Suburbs across Wellington and throughout New Zealand, and are synonymous with success, a professional attitude, sportsmanship and fair play.

"There's only one Danny Fearon" was often heard at Anfield and now luckily for Western Suburbs the same call echoes around football grounds of Wellington. He is often found stirring the Yellow Fever into song at Phoenix home games.

Registration Information 2012

Yes, despite the long hot summer we have been enjoying (!), hot cross buns are in the shops so the football season must be just around the corner.

 

Western Suburbs Soccer Club would like to invite to our upcoming Registration Days:

  • Thursday 23rd February 2012, 5.30 – 7.30pm
  • Sunday 26th February 2012, 10.30am – 2.30pm
  • Thursday 1st March 2012, 5.30 – 7.30pm

All will be held at the Clubrooms, Endeavour Park, Albatross Close, Whitby.

For the second time in three years Western Suburbs have been named "Capital Football Junior Club of the Year".

Western Suburbs Juniors enjoy success at Taupo tournament

Western Suburbs were well represented at the largest junior football tournament in New Zealand, held in Taupo in November, with the 9th and 10th grade sides coming away victorious. The club also entered a second 9th grade team, along with 13th and 17th grade teams, as 1500 players from across the country came together for the McCartney Invitational Tournament.
